New Promise Foundation, Inc., is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2019. (FEIN # 84-2183217). The Foundation manifests a long and challenging road endured by the Kaniewski family.
Our founder, Voytek Kaniewski, came to the United States in 1984 with nothing more than one suitcase and $500 in his pocket. While working multiple low-paying jobs to support his wife and infant son, he always had a vision for a better future. Living in a molded basement, he worked relentlessly towards it.
Slowly, with dedication and support from his wife, he built a very successful window business, Okna Windows, in Bristol, PA. Today, nearly 40 years after his arrival to this country, Voytek and his family are in a position to give back to the community's most vulnerable population – kids.
The New Promise Foundation was born to help kids achieve their dreams – a true manifestation of the "American Dream."
All donations are tax-deductible. Once you donate, you will receive a "Thank you" letter. Please provide it to your accountant when preparing your annual income tax returns.
Unlike large national-based nonprofits, the New Promise does not have the burden of high administrative and overhead costs. We are a small family-based foundation created for the sole purpose of helping children directly, cutting out the "middle man."
Spearheading our efforts is Joanna Kaniewska and Irena Gamkiv. Together, they bring over 14 years of experience in nonprofit and for-profit businesses, allowing them to plan and execute multiple strategies to maximize Foundation's positive impact on families while minimizing costs. This successful strategy allows New Promise to reach more families than otherwise would be possible.
Every child deserves a happy childhood and a chance for a stable and secure future, and that is what we work to provide.
All funds donated will be used exclusively for children in need. Help includes but is not limited to buying medical equipment and supplies (wheelchairs, crutches, medicine, etc.), supporting families in severe financial distress due to death in the family or illness (paying certain bills, providing food, etc.).
Although our primary focus is in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, we will extend our assistance beyond Bucks County.
Our goal is to be 100% transparent. Upon request, we will share all receipts and relevant documentation supporting income and expenses with the general population to achieve this goal.
Please make the check payable to New Promise Foundation, Inc., and mail it to 400 Crossing Dr., Bristol, PA, 19007.
